Great TDIH.
I have always liked this show and the ones around it. Something about that waaaaaaayyyyyyy laid back sound that was so prevalent during this era. The Playin > Jam > Dancin' is wonderful, even though I was never a big fan of the "disco" Dancin'. Wonder why Mission In The Rain was dropped so fast?
The next night is great also, with a closing jam of Sugar Mag > Eyes > Stella Blue > Sunshine Daydream.

I remember getting this show on tape back when you actually had to have human interaction to get recordings. On the plane ride back from the Greek Theatre in 1989, we met a guy on the airplane who was an optometrist from Brooklyn. He noticed the sticker covered suitcase and we exchanged addresses. Over the next few months we traded some tapes and he sent me "Betty Boards" of 6/10, 6/11, 6/14, and 6/29, along with a few others. These were the first Betty's I had gotten and needless to say became quick favs just for the sound quality alone. Wonder whatever happened to that guy? Alan Gottesman?
